A few friendly tips
😊What to expect
- It's relaxed. Most shoots take 45–60 minutes, including setup.
- I'll arrive a few minutes early to look at the light and set up.
- We'll take a mix of portraits and some "in action" shots of you doing what you do.
- No modeling experience needed. I'll guide you the whole way.
👕What to wear
- Wear what makes you feel like yourself, and what fits the story.
- Solid colors photograph best. Skip tiny stripes, small checks and big logos.
- Bring a second outfit or a layer (jacket, blazer) if you like options.
- Make sure clothes are pressed and fit well. Comfortable shoes help.
- Your work uniform or apron is great if it's part of your story.
🏠Preparing your space
- Clear clutter from counters, desks and walls behind where you'll be.
- Open blinds and turn on the lights. Natural light is our friend.
- Tuck away cords, paperwork, trash cans and personal items.
- If customers or staff will be around, give them a heads-up.
💄Hair, makeup & grooming
- Go with your everyday look, just a touch more polished.
- A little powder helps with shine. Florida heat is real!
- Fresh haircuts look best a few days after, not the same morning.
🎒Props & extras
- Bring anything that tells your story: tools, products, a signature dish, a pet.
- Is anyone else joining the photo? Let me know ahead of time.
☔Weather & changes
- For outdoor shoots, I'll check the forecast and reach out if we need a backup plan.
- Need to reschedule? Just reply to the confirmation email or text me. No problem.

What scheduling means. By scheduling this shoot, you're confirming that you understand you're being photographed to appear in SRQ Magazine or another publication of Trafalger Communications, Inc. (Publishers of SRQ Magazine, Wellen Park Living Magazine), for editorial use and to promote Trafalger's own publications.
The release is an extra. Signing it ahead of time just puts that in writing so we don't need paperwork on shoot day. It takes 30 seconds.

SRQ Magazine Photo Release
With Trafalger Communications, Inc. (Publishers of SRQ Magazine, Wellen Park Living Magazine) and others it authorizes ("Trafalger").
1. Photos and recordings. Trafalger may photograph and record me (photos, video, audio, interview) at this shoot for SRQ Magazine.
2. How they can be used. Anywhere, with no time limit, in any media, with my name, likeness, voice and bio details: in editorial stories in SRQ Magazine, Wellen Park Living Magazine and other Trafalger content (print, web, digital editions, newsletters, social, video, audio, archives and reprints), and to promote Trafalger's own publications, content, events and services. Trafalger's partners may share or distribute that content for these purposes.
3. No endorsements. My photo won't be used to suggest I endorse another company's products or services.
4. Editing. Trafalger may crop, retouch, edit and combine the photos with text and graphics, and decides captions, headlines, placement and whether to publish. I don't approve them first unless Trafalger agrees in writing.
5. No payment, no ownership. I'm not paid for this and I don't own the photos. Trafalger doesn't have to publish them.
6. Release of claims. As far as the law allows, I won't make claims against Trafalger (like privacy, publicity, or use of my name or likeness) over uses this release allows. Rights that can't legally be waived aren't affected.
7. Changes and Florida law. This is the whole agreement about these permissions, and Florida law applies. A change I suggest below is a request. It counts only if Trafalger agrees in writing (email is fine).
8. E-signature and age. Signing below counts as my electronic signature. I'm 18 or older, or my parent or guardian is signing for me.
